Some Valentine's Tutorials

Rag Garland

This is a really cute project.  I checked out the link and the blogger that posted it, isn't blogging anymore, but the project is still adorable.  I don't think that you actually need a tutorial to figure out that this is a bunch of scrap fabric strips tied onto a piece of ribbon to make an adorable garland.  This would also be cute if you used a coat hanger and made a heart shaped wreath instead of a garland.

Here is another wreath project from The Idea Room.  This is made with felt, but fleece is also really cheap and would result in nearly the same look.

Just for Rachel made this super cute wreath from foam and fabric.  I would probably make two notations to this tutorial.  1) If you are going to use this inside, you could easily use tissue paper or cupcake wrappers which are cheap and cute.  2) Instead of hot glue, try poking the fabric or tissue into the foam with a pen or skewer.  Hot glue can sometimes melt the foam.  Plus, if you use the poke method, you can have kids help.
